Christmas decorations make me happy

 Colours, lights and glitter are one of the reasons I like Christmas. 

Seeing decorations makes me naively happy.

It was a surreal experience with glitter and rust.

 

My son loved it.

 Knitting relaxes me, but I also get ambitious about the projects.

 

My husband was amazed that one can get so caught up in knitting.

We had Finnish Schools Christmas Party this weekend at Finnish Church.

It is the Independence Day of Finland. I am watching a Swedish speaking program from the Finnish Broadcasting Company while being a simultaneous interpreter for my son from English to Finnish and back.

Winter evening is perfect with good bread from a friend.
We are having nutroast for the first time as well as raw beetroot.
They are our new favorites.
