We stayed two weeks at my in-laws while moving away from our home at Lumikintie. The house was in Tammisalo, very near to our old home. I realised that this is going to be the first of many houses which we call home. My son calls these houses spare-homes. It was lovely to have a vacation from moving by staying at their house. My mother-in-law has a truly a beautiful home. When they came back from holiday it was time to us to move again. And no minute too soon: I had already gotten two stains on the upstairs sofa. (Yes, sorry it was me!)
Next we moved to my husbands grandparents house. They are now living in assisted living building. So we could move to their old home. It was also in Tammisalo so the move was easy. It took us time to clean everything. The house is old and still, after cleaning, dusty. Here we can be at ease. Furniture is old and we can go as we please. It has beautiful view to the sea. Although inviting guests can be a challenge since we don´t have dinner table. Luckily it is summer and we can be out as much as possible.
Garden is a mess. But since we are here for just a while, I have decided to let it be. We just pick the strawberries, apples and currants. Still no news about the move.
