I had a week with lots of trouble and small sorrows.

I was tired and my two weeks as alone parent where only in the beginning.

I was feeling grumpy about naughty kids at the playground. 

Then my kid got the idea to make faces on the pancakes.

I was happy to be home with my creative and kind child.

it is a paradise for a small boy.

We had a party for three. 

It was a surprise party for my birthday. 

I had a makeover by my friend M.

I made Peach-Cashew-Rucola and Potato-Bean-Feta salads.

We had fresh bread and tapenade.

We took pictures of the new me

and I got advise on poses a lá Tyra Banks.

I also got these lovely flowers that look like a baroque painting.

We went dancing

 and by chance got to hear a live performance by Kuningasidea.

I had a perfect summer night!

I have

I have spend now four days alone. I have eaten three hamburgers like this with herbs and cream cheese. I get up late and watch television way too late and eat chips and candy. I have met friends and talked almost too much. I have taken pictures of places I always wanted, but did not have the time. I have blogged to my hearts content. I have enjoyed my time alone. I recommend this to all stay at home parents taking care of their kids every other day of the year. Send the kids on a holiday,
you don´t need to go!

I am going jogging now. 

After that I am happy to get my men back. 

I have missed them.

My friend invited me to her garden lot at an old mental institute.

As a girl I once worked here.

I smelled the lilacs.

  It reminded me of my grandparents house, 

now long gone.

 Everything was in bloom.

at Sunbay beach

Here in Helsinki I am on my best holiday ever. 

Boys are at the island of my husbands grandfather. 

I am alone enjoying the city and meeting friends. 

I met a good friend and her daughter on the Sunbay beach. 

We ate pretzels and chicken salad from a deli. 

I talked so much nonsense, just out of happiness of talking. 

 Beach looks like it is somewhere south with palm trees.

Only the palm trees are pines.
