I made a pumpkin head.

We had my sons friend over to celebrate my sons birthday.

We had a forest theme. 

We made the cake look like a forrest for the small legos. 

My son and I had lots of fun decorating the cake and playing at the same time.

 I made sushi just with cucumber and avocado so all could have a taste.

 We had really cool costumes. 

He is a forest.

 My in-laws came to visit us for my sons birthday.

My son was overjoyed. 

I am happy that they made my sons birthday special.

My son is now 4 years old. 

I made pancakes for his birthday breakfast.

He got lots of baggages from Finland.

It was so nice people remembered him.

I made a Native American costume for him.

 We went to a delicious Italian restaurant called Rossopomondoro. 

I got this postcards of Tony-Ray Jones. It makes me smile.

I went to see him at the exhibition Only in England at the Science Museum.

waiting for fall on a sunday

 The sun is shining and there is no sing of fall. 

I have bought my hip city wellies and I have my camera ready for beautiful fall pictures.

Well there is a one sign of fall, the spiders are getting really big in out garden.

On a Sunday morning I walk through otherwise busy High Street. 

I walk by the halal meat shops and places that sells plastic everything. 

 I am going to the farmers market in Walthamstow.

There I will get my Sunday fish. 

I buy for the whole week jam, sausages, bread and vegetables.

My friend Daisy invited us to the botanical garden in Helsinki.

She has an art project that needed some posing.

It was rainy and cold outside.

The children where delighted about the inside forrest.

The flowers made me want to have similar jungle at my own wall.

first day of nursery

My son got in to a local nursery. It is just ten minutes walk from our house. First we practiced going there together. Since Monday he has been staying there without me. He is very independent and wants to put his scooter away by himself. He is happy in his nursery and it is so good for his English. I am happy to have couple of hours time for myself. (I can write this blog and drink tea.) Still I feel little nostalgic thinking that he is really a big boy now.
