8. Dreams of Sailing
Last week we went to the Centre for Wooden Boats.
Every weekend there are small sailboats kids can sail with.
That time there was also Christmas Light Festival whit lots of things to do for kids.
We had BLT sandwiches and apples and mandarines for lunch.
We saw lots of real wooden sailboats and other beautiful wooden boats.
My son decorated a gingerbread cookie shape of a sailboat.
My husband and my son built their own sailboat.
It is just the right size for legos to sail on.

6. getting dressed to go out
Even when it is sunny it is wet. So lots of time we are dressed in rain gear. We have this really nice playground very near to us. My son takes his bike there. That is, I drag it uphill and he comes back home using the breaks. They have lots of things to clime on at the playground. My son does not seem to get tired of the slides.
This is my smart outdoor outfit. Boots are from Pertti Palmrot. I found them unused in my grandmother-in-laws place. Jacket and scarf are from Barbour. Jacket is waterproof even though it looks like an ordinary jacket. My husband bought his at the same time. So we have matching outfits. HihHih...For my son I bought these jeans from Hanna Andersson. They are little too big, but this is how they wear them here. We call them his lumberjack pants.

5. a room for a boy
Finaly we got something on the walls of my sons room. Here he can hang his art work. (He really calls them art work.) Now we hang letters he most liked. I found yesterday these letters from a shop called Butter Home in Capitol Hill. I had been looking for something like these letters, almost did them by myself.
We got a measuring board from our neighbor. I have decided to ad everybody who comes to our house to the board. Now it has my name, my sons name and my mother-in-laws name and hight. We saw a model train set in the window of Macy´s. There was also a very impressive moving ski lift. We copied it when we got home.

4. in to the mist
One Sunday morning we went to Magnuson Park. It was very misty and quiet. We could not see to the other side of Lake Washington. Only couple of paddlers where on the water. When they came from the mist, it seemed that it could have happened 300 years ago. The beach was very romantic and unreal in that day. There where these nuclear submarines floating on the grass and crows everywhere.

3. Pikes Place Market
We went to Pikes Place Market.
It was rainy, but everything was inside.
We where just looking,
but others where doing their grocery shopping.
They had beautiful restrooms in Pike Place Market.
We saw lots of Christmas pigs and even pated some.
We drank thee with this great view.
